The time has come to announce the Fourth Annual Disc Golf Underground Christmas Invitational! Special announcements for this event include the following:

Disc Golf Underground Christmas Tournament

Date/Time: Saturday December 19, 2015 – Players meeting at 8:40am, Tee off @ 9:00am

Cost: $20 – Includes bag tag, Disc Golf Underground dri-fit polo, and towel, or $10 for bag tag only.  *** The first 20 players that sign up for the $20 option, and pay for the event will receive a FREE Vibram disc.

Location: White Oak Country Club DGC – West

Format: Individual, non-handicap event (non everyone has an established handicap.. we cannot use them for some people and not others…)

Details: For this event, we will be getting new club bag tags. This will be the first year that we WILL NOT have dates assigned to the tags. Therefore, these tags are designed to be used indefinitely so that we do not need to renew the tags every year. This should cut down on costs of future events, even though we may be paying a little more than normal this year (looking to purchase metal tags that will last forever). Since this is our annual bag tag scramble, there are no divisions.

Additionally, we will be ordering club shirts from Paragon Disc Golf. These shirts should be higher quality (they made the Team Vibram shirts that I wear, and do shirts for a lot of disc golfers) than the ones we did a few years ago. Once again, we are currently pricing everything out and do not have an official total yet, but the type of shirt that we get may affect the final price.

As always, DGU will donate various prizes (custom made wooden trophies similar to the Labor Day tournament?!), discs, and other swag.
