Vibram Birdie Bash at Windwood Presybterian DGC Results – 2016

We had a good time at the Vibram Birdie Bash held at Windwood Presbyterian Disc Golf Course this past weekend. Nineteen players came out and participated in the event, including two female players, one junior, and one dog. The over all winner was Jim Sims from Katy, Texas, and the coveted Spirit Award went to Shawn Olichwier, a new disc golfer that has only been in the local area for the last 6 months.

The results from the event should be posted to the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) website since the event was sanctioned as an X-C tier, but at the time of this posting, they have not been updated yet. We want to thank the great staff at Windwood Presbyterian Church for opening their facility to us, and allowing us to use their amazing course. Christina Bowden, the church’s Community Outreach Provider even came out personally to welcome our group, and offer a prayer for our event. We are grateful for their involvement in our local disc golf community, and for the continued support.
