Discraft Elite Z Buzzz – One Disc Round

I (Nathan) played a one disc round of disc golf using a brand new Discraft Elite Z Buzzz.

Since I started throwing the Vibram Ibex years ago, I basically went away from the Buzzz. However, I’ve often said that I believe that the Buzzz is the perfect disc for a one disc round. It’s incredibly versatile and one of the best discs ever made.

I figured folks might be getting tired of Cat Hollow, so I mixed it up this time with a visit to the more difficult Williamson County Park, AKA Wilco. Wilco is a lot more technical than Cat Hollow, and having a straight flyer like the Buzzz made a lot of sense.

Since I’m running low on Ibex backups, I decided to cycle this Buzzz into the mix rather than bring in a new Ibex. I’m so happy with it that I may end up abandoning the Ibex entirely. I think my game has grown a lot since I last threw the Buzzz, and I love it even more now.

These rounds aren’t getting any easier. Especially when I start getting to some of the longer holes, you can see me struggle to get the distance I need, but this was a pretty fun round. Pretty clean round again, all things considered.
