Never hurts to Ace

The Ace is best part of disc golf, and one of the most incredible feelings I’ve ever had in sports.  If you haven’t gotten one, I highly recommend them.

Seriously though, aces are hard.  A broken clock may be right twice a day, but it’s pretty hard to stumble into a legit ace run blindly.  I’ve been putting in a lot of fieldwork lately trying to break a lot of bad habits, and man it felt good to watch that disc fly out of my hand and know it was going right where i wanted it to all the way. You always hope, but that time I KNEW.

It was my third ace.  And weirdly enough, although I tend to play a lot of solo rounds because of my work schedule, all 3 of my aces have had a witness.  I’ve also personally witnessed 4 friends hit their own first ace (all before I hit mine), including the time when Chase H hit his first ace at the 2013 Vibram Birdie Bash in front of 15 spectators to win the CTP.

Aces bring the world together.  They’re meant to be shared.  Go out and get one, and make the world a better place.
