Riverbend Park Disc Golf Course in Smithville Texas

I had the privilege of heading out to Austin in March for a business trip. On the way home I detoured through Smithville, Texas in order to play Riverbend Park Disc Golf Course. There are currently 4871 disc golf courses in the United States (according to Disc Golf Course Review), and I have played 2.2% of them. Of the 105 disc golf courses that I have played, 81 have been in the state of Texas.

I really enjoyed Riverbend Park Disc Golf Course, though it seemed to be very right hand, back hand (RHBH) friendly. There was a really cool tree on hole 17 that had and eagle and an American flag carved into it. Also, it was my first time to tee off with a bunch of horses watching me. Check out the video below.
